Dr. Helfgott’s fees range between $90 and $150 for a typical session. Depending on need and special circumstances, he may agree to reduce the fee temporarily or even for the duration of the treatment. As a courtesy to his clients, Dr. Helfgott accepts all major credit cards at no extra charge. If requested, he can also arrange for an automatic payment to be scheduled from your bank account for each session conducted.

Sessions are normally 45-50 minutes long. Initial sessions and couples counseling sessions may last a bit longer. Evening hours with Dr. Helfgott can be arranged by appointment.

Dr. Helfgott currently accepts Horizon Blue/Cross Blue Shield Traditional and PPO plans and Medicare on an in-network basis. He is also happy to work with other insurance plans to help you receive reimbursement for services he renders on an out-of-network basis. At your request, Dr. Helfgott will bill your insurance company on your behalf so you do not need to send in the claims yourself.
